Cloud Forest

How many clicks does it take to get to the center of the universe? This Little Explorer keeps popping up a lot lately. Maybe the part of my brain that lives blissfully free from the burden of linear thought is trying to tell me something.

A Fine Alternative To Dodgy Facial Hair

Ride On, Ride On

Octopop

You sometimes stumble across strange beautiful things while out at sea. Maybe even a friend or foe or two.

Asteroid Rage

Hop on a bullet and run fast from the big twisty things that conspire to hold you back.

Deep Blue

This one made it into a really nice pin pack. I'll post that soon.

Wish-Well 1

Contribution to a forthcoming Minneapolis-published zine.

Wish-Well 3

Contribution to a forthcoming Minneapolis-published zine.

Harlequin Disastre

The term materialised in my foggy brain while passing a gaggle of Shoreditch Nu-Ravers after a long night at the Old Blue Last.

Another Type Experiment

Of the thin and squiggly sort. The one on the left is a modified version of and old VGC face called Aase, if i remember correctly. Nice open letterforms that were begging to be messed with.

Roll On, Thou Deep and Dark Blue Ocean

Crosshatch Beard

Something to do with pattern, a self-referential lumberjack, and an unhealthy attachment to the Pacific Northwest.

Some People Ride The Wave Of Never Gonna Drown

A Book Of Rules On What To Say To People When They Pick On You

Loose Leaf

These things collect like fallen leaves at the base of my display wall. Sometimes i rake up a few.

Some Machines Are Dropped From Great Heights Lovingly

Number two in the below-mentioned NFNF Poster series. 30x40 digitally-manipulated ink drawing with sampled textures.

Malwitz Surfboards (spec logos)

So, the really nice thing about taking a sabbatical from work is that you can indulge otherwise unimaginable pursuits like, for instance, spending a few hours obsessively brush-penning mockups for a great guy in Philly who's giving away a surfboard in exchange for a logo. The funniest part is that I never knew him when i lived there. Apparently it took heading across the Atlantic and trolling the web to spawn such opportunities.

Your lips move but i can't hear what you say

One of a series of three NFNF Posters. First major work produced since moving to London for the Summer. I will post the next two as I complete them. 30x40 digitally-manipulated ink drawing with sampled textures. Will either screenprint or giclee print the lot.

I'm A Cuckoo
